Set on the waterfront in the heart of Paynesville, The Cruiser Club celebrates fresh local produce, seasonal specials and the community spirit of the Gippsland Lakes.
Originally established in 1980 by local boating enthusiasts, the club entered a new chapter under the ownership of Steve Fowler and Deb Bloye in 2025.
The menu features hearty, flavour-driven dishes made with locally sourced ingredients, alongside regularly changing specials. Live music, weekly raffles and footy tipping create a welcoming atmosphere for members and visitors alike.
Overlooking the marina, The Cruiser Club offers a relaxed coastal setting to dine, connect and enjoy the best of the region, whether arriving by boat or by land.

There is beer on tap and great drink selections. the meals are very generous and delicious.
It was the best cioppino I have ever had, there was so much seafood and it so super fresh, the rest of my family also really enjoyed their meals.
The staff are lovely and the service is amazing, super warm and welcoming!
Yhey also make very great coffee and have all types of milk. Yhe homemade tiramisu cheesecake is to die for!
10/10 would recommend and will definitely be coming back ☺️

"Amazing orange roughe served on a delicious mash potatoe, perfectly cooked. I've dinned twice since the new owners and I can tell you it's well worth the experience. The atmosphere has an excitement of locals enjoying something new and fresh and I can see why. A hidden gem in Paynesville with a meal that's worthy of the drive there. Staff are friendly and welcoming."

Last time we visited (about a year ago) it was fine, but this time the food was outstanding!!
We had cheesy garlic bread and the seafood stew and our son had the calamari. Both were perfection.
Atmosphere was great. And the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming.
It will 100% be in our places to eat each time we visit list and recommending it to our friends visiting Paynesville.
