Set on the waterfront in the heart of Paynesville, The Cruiser Club celebrates fresh local produce, seasonal specials and the community spirit of the Gippsland Lakes.
Established in 1980 and reimagined under the ownership of Steve Fowler and Deb Bloye in late 2025, the club offers relaxed waterfront dining, live music, weekly raffles and footy tipping in a welcoming coastal setting.
Planning a special occasion? We cater for weddings, birthdays, engagements, corporate events and more, with seated capacity for up to 120 guests and larger standing functions available. Speak with our Venue Manager, Chantelle, to start planning your event.
Our courtesy bus operates Thursday to Sunday, with bookings essential.

The atmosphere has an excitement of locals enjoying something new and fresh and I can see why. A hidden gem in Paynesville with a meal that's worthy of the drive there. Last time we visited (about a year ago) it was fine, but this time the food was outstanding!!
We had cheesy garlic bread and the seafood stew and our son had the calamari. Both were perfection.
Atmosphere was great. And the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming.
It will 100% be in our places to eat each time we visit list and recommending it to our friends visiting Paynesville.

There is beer on tap and great drink selections. the meals are very generous and delicious.
It was the best cioppino I have ever had, there was so much seafood and it so super fresh, the rest of my family also really enjoyed their meals.
The staff are lovely and the service is amazing, super warm and welcoming!
Yhey also make very great coffee and have all types of milk. Yhe homemade tiramisu cheesecake is to die for!
10/10 would recommend and will definitely be coming back ☺️
